Shopify Integration

Our Shopify integration connects your Joey account directly to your Shopify store, allowing for your Shopify orders to automatically be created.

 

How does it work?

Our Shopify integration will display Joey to your customers during the checkout process provided that their address is within our service area. When your customers select “Joey” as their shipping method, an order will automatically be created in our system for the items to be delivered.

Installation

New User

If you are a new user, simply add Joey and click “install app” from your Shopify store. After this you will be prompted to create a Joey account - simply fill in the information and click “Register”.

Once completed, please go through and update any of your Shopify Settings. You should also make sure to update your account settings - more details can be found here.

Existing Account

If you are an existing user, to add Joey to your store you can either:

1) Add Joey and click “Install app” from your Shopify store. After this please enter your login information, and click “Ok” at the following page to link your Shopify store with your existing Joey store profile.

2) Login to your Dashboard, navigate to Settings, and click “Connect” next to the Shopify logo. Then follow the prompts to add Joey to your Shopify store.

Once completed, please go through and update any of your Shopify Settings.

 

Shopify Settings

To customise your settings, navigate to the Joey Dashboard, then Settings, and click the edit button next to Shopify Settings. You can edit the following settings:

  • Display Joey at Checkout

    • This will allow Joey to display our Same Day and Express delivery options when your customers go to checkout from your site. If you select No for a specific service, you will need to use the "Send to Joey" feature from your Shopify store to create orders.

  • Sync Delivery Instructions: 

    • Indicates whether you would like us to automatically sync any delivery instructions your customer may have left.

  • Order Confirmation & Updates Email: 

    • Set a specific email address to receive all of our emails regarding order confirmation and updates.

  • Checkout Price:

    • This allows you to set different price points for your customer depending on how much they are spending.

 

Send to Joey

Our “Send to Joey” feature allows you to create same-day deliveries for orders directly via Shopify, without needing your customers to select Joey during checkout.

Please note that only orders submitted prior to the cut-off time (from your Settings) will be eligible for same-day delivery. Any orders placed after the cut-off time will automatically default to the next available delivery date.

To use this feature:

  1. Navigate to the Orders tab of your Shopfiy Store and select the orders you would like to schedule for delivery.

  2. After selecting all of the desired orders, click “More actions”, then from the dropdown menu select either “Joey - Same Day” for our Same Day delivery service, or “Joey - Express” for our Express delivery service.

  3. You will be redirected to the Joey Dashboard - from here, click “Import”.

  4. A summary screen will outline which orders were successfully created, and which were outside of our service area.
